What are living foods?

Living foods are exactly what they sound like. They are fruits and vegetables that have 100% of their nutritional value intact. The rawer the food the more enzymes it contains and the healthier and more powerful it is for your body. When you cook foods over 116 degrees Fahrenheit, the enzymes are destroyed.

What are enzymes?

Enzymes are the life force or energy of food. They assist in digesting and absorbing foods. Your body has only about 35 years of natural enzyme production before it starts slowing down. When you eat mostly cooked, processed or high sugar foods you're body is not receiving the additional enzymes it needs to replenish it's supply. Your body starts to pillage enzymes from your organs causing burn out, illness and disease.

So is eating living foods the answer?

Yes! I can't say it enough. The more enzyme rich and alkalizing foods you eat, you will have a long and healthy life. This isn't just about weight loss. It's about being healthy, strong and powerful. Within living foods are things called Phytochemicals. Phytochemicals are the keys to cellular detoxification and healing. They boost the immune system so it can fight of illness and disease.

What are alkaline foods?

Your blood is either alkaline or acidic. Blood that is alkaline is between 7.35-7.45. A PH of 7.0 is neutral. Above 7.0 is alkaline, and below is acidic. If your blood is to acidic your body will not be able to absorb minerals and nutrients well, the energy production in your cells will decrease, your cells will not be able to repair itself efficiently, you will feel more fatigued and get sick easily, tumor cells thrive in an acidic environment, and finally your ability to detoxify heavy metals will go down. Just a slightly acidic PH of 6.9 can induce coma and death.

An acidic environment is created by to much meat, diary and eggs. Foods that produce acid are white flour, sugar (chemical sweeteners), drugs, and beverages like coffee and sodas. An alkaline environment is produced by living foods such as fruits and vegetables.

Why are living foods so important to this program?

If you have been eating foods that are processed, overcooked or filled with sugar you are nutritionally deprived. I have worked with many people in helping them heal their ailments using nutrition. This program is comprehensive. It first gets rid of the addiction and then teaches you how to properly nourish your mind and body so you never go back to old habits.

Are you going to tell me I HAVE to only eat raw fruits and vegetables?

Gosh NO! I am of East Indian descent and LOVE Indian curries and spices. It's my comfort food and by the way, very nutritious if done right. You will be taught simple, easy to do things that will include 7-13 servings of fruits and vegetables every single day. Your body will start to heal. You'll look and feel better and more importantly you will live longer. There is NO SUFFERING in this program. If you'd like to learn how to be 100% raw, we can talk about it outside of the program. I personally am raw 70% of the time. We're all very busy people and 100% raw may not suit you.

Why is eating 7-13 servings of fruits and vegetables everyday so difficult?

Time, energy and the lack of taste. We're all so busy nowadays that trying to sit for an hour to chow down a HUGE salad is very time consuming. Besides the fact that it gets boring after a while. When you go out to social events, it's very hard saying no to the fatty, salty, yummy foods. Your body is habituated to eating it now so it wants what it wants. Also, you're nutritionally deprived and your body is just looking for quick fixes. Fruits and vegetables have not been your quick fix. By the end of the program, it'll be a breeze eating more fruits and vegetables. You'll actually look forward to it!
